Chad Kuleguy Work

Last week our group had a task: we had a client who wanted a funimation of 5-ish seconds of action-packed goodness with america and serious soda product placement. on this project i was the Rough inbetweener and the Cleanup Inbetweener, i also helped our group in bits that needed doing IE colouring, Cleaning up a few of the keys. i also came up with some ideas for clowns and was the main creator of the main female character.

Flour-Sack Ideas

For this assignment i am being tasked with creating a flour sack animation. i have come up with these ideas and done a few drawings to get used to the character and how he moves

 

i have decided to choose a fantasia style esque of multiple flour sacks.
now i have done 5 concept thumbnails to have an idea of what the scene could look like

Danger, Danger, Doctor Campbell!

Last week i decided to try to go for a different style in drawing to expand my knowledge on drawing and decided to go for a realistic/Marvel style. so i found an artist i quite like (J. Scott Campbell) and found what i think is one of his Danger Girls from his comic book and tried my hand at drawing one.

Character stylization

i used (and still do) to watch heaps of cartoons that have inspired me throughout my childhood and so i decided to take some of the styles of cartoons i used to watch and incorporate it into my character; so, i used to cartoon style of samurai pizza cats.

i also drew a character from the tv show to get a better understanding of the style and anatomy of the universe they are in.

Character Refinement

This week i refined my Character based off of cinderella. Her name is CIN-84 and is being experimented on to try to create the perfect human soldier. i have done rough drawings of her doing various poses.
