Bunny Walk Cycle

i found a cute little bunny walk cycle on youtube and wanted to know how it was animated, i really want to try to get into animal characters.

The first thing is that bunnies hop. and this video shows that by dragging feet behind  to give that effect. he also used a mixture between ones and twos, ones mostly on the ground and twos when the bunny is in the air. i believe it makes the character feel more lifelike. and showing the effect of gravity by slowing it in the air.

there is alot of fluidity in this animation, while i was going through it i noticed the amount of good posing. even in the breakdowns and inbetweens. This bunny uses alot of construction mainly consisting of circles to give it a more cutesy look.

Rose Lineart Model Sheet

 Finished drawing my model sheet for rose, currently halfway through Ami's so i will try to post that up sometime around this sunday.

 I still have colour to worry about but i'm getting some help on it as i have a very hard time with colours and such. I've found that its always good to get input on your work be it peers, friends or tutors, it will help you improve drastically, and just having a fresh set of eyes helps when you are stuck or in a rut when designing a character or artwork.

Ami and Rose: Take on the World Conceptual Stage_01

I have decided to post the planning stages of the designs of the two main characters

Ami and rose are guardians of the universe Ami and Rose are sister who protect anyone in trouble. they where born with a rare  blood type that gives them
powers.

 Rose uses her guns adoration and denial. adoration controls those shot and denial kills people. she embodies the rich, diva stereotype. she loves attention
and having people love her. she loves the center stage. Rose resembles the virtue of being yourself and not backing down no matter who is in her way.
her dream is for the entire universe to know her and love her as she loves herself.

 Ami is the cheeky trickster, she has a carefree and cheeky personality, she can teleport to different locations in her mind. she loves to pull pranks on
people and toy with her foes. Ami carries her trusty bo staff which she can manipulate the size of. Ami resembles the values of fun and being able to
laugh even in the direst of situations. Ami's dream is to spend the rest of her life with her sister while having a blast doing it.

i have come up with the names of the characters and my main plot. here is some more concept ideas for the look of the characters.

i cringe at the first few now, but this was also a trial for a new type of creating characters for me, building the silhouette, then getting the anatomy so it looks right in silhouette form. i really like this kind of creating and i do reccommend it, as it has sped up my process a bunch.
